I can apply for Singapore Citizenship/ Singapore Permanent Resident Application on my own, why should I engage Immigration Lab?
Assurance of document quality, security, and application procedures:
Our accumulated knowledge ensures that every client’s document package meets the reviewing authorities’ requirements. Through technology, we’ve gone paperless, providing clients with easy access to their cases via our secure portal. All documents are securely stored in our private network, a practice uncommon in the industry. Our Document Controllers stay updated on platform/system changes to avoid any surprises during submission that could affect the final result.
Maximum results with minimal effort:
An application involves more than meets the eye, including form completion, document translation, and gathering relevant supporting documentation. The government evaluates over ten different aspects of your profile, with some additional ones introduced in late 2019. Leveraging our connections and extensive knowledge, we can recommend agencies or organizations for you to contribute time and effort to bolster your PR/Citizenship application. We offer viable solutions for all aspects of your life in Singapore, ensuring your profile is strategically presented to the reviewing authorities. Strategizing is crucial in this process, and it’s our specialty. Don’t leave something as important as your PR/Citizenship application to chance.
Practical time commitment, stress-free submission, and honesty:
Our personalized service allows clients to adhere to a workable timeline, ensuring a stress-free and unrushed submission process. We keep paperwork to a minimum and offer flexibility to minimize disruptions to clients’ schedules. Unlike other firms that rely on marketing gimmicks, we prioritize honesty and integrity, avoiding unscrupulous tactics such as paid reviews or over-promising during consultations. We stand apart from the rest.
With many firms promising 95% to 99% approval rates, what are my chances of success?
Each case we handle possesses its own unique characteristics, and we never apply a one-size-fits-all approach. Therefore, we will assess your entire profile during the consultation to provide insight into your current and potential improved chances with our assistance.
It’s important to emphasize that we prioritize long-term relationships and conduct our business with honesty. We refrain from using exaggerated or unethical sales tactics to generate revenue. At Immigration Lab, we take pride in our distinct approach. Schedule an appointment with us today, and you’ll appreciate the difference.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of obtaining Singapore PR status?
There are several advantages to obtaining PR status, such as reduced stamp duty rates for property purchases. PRs pay half the stamp duty compared to foreigners, while citizens pay even less. Additionally, PRs become eligible to purchase an HDB flat after three years, subject to income restrictions. In terms of employment, PRs and citizens are often preferred by employers, which can provide greater job stability and higher quotas for foreigners.
PRs also enjoy access to more affordable healthcare and public education services. Furthermore, PRs contribute to the Central Provident Fund (CPF), a retirement savings scheme that offers financial security in the future. While CPF contributions are mandatory, some individuals may find this restrictive as access to funds is limited until the age of 52. However, upon renouncing PR status, individuals can withdraw their CPF savings in full.
One potential disadvantage is for individuals on expatriate packages, as their terms may be adjusted to local standards, resulting in the loss of benefits such as housing or car allowances.
Overall, the benefits of PR status outweigh the drawbacks. Our goal is to provide expert guidance throughout the PR application process, leveraging our industry experience and expertise to assist you effectively.
Considering that my spouse and I are both living in Singapore, would it be better for us to apply for PR together or separately?
We recommend submitting your applications jointly to demonstrate to the ICA the commitment level of both you and your family to remain in Singapore.
My ICA application was recently declined. What should be my next steps?
You must wait for a cooling-off period of six months before submitting another application. However, this interval presents an ideal opportunity to partner with us in refining your profile, with the goal of positioning yourself in the top 5% during the ICA selection phase.
As a holder of a work permit, do I meet the requirements for PR application eligibility?
To qualify for a PR application, you must meet one of the following criteria:
- Holders of S Pass, Employment Pass, Personalized Employment Pass, and Entrepreneur Pass (for Professionals, Skilled Workers & Technical Personnel).
- Spouse of a Singapore Citizen or PR.
- Child of a citizen or PR, unmarried and under 21.
- Parents of a Singapore citizen.
- Student Pass holders with a minimum of two years in Singapore and have passed at least one national exam (e.g., PSLE or GCE ‘N’/’O’/’A’ levels) or are in the Integrated Program.
Therefore, work permit holders, who are foreign workers from approved source countries in sectors such as construction, manufacturing, marine shipyard, process, or services, are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply for PR. However, if you are married to a Singapore citizen or PR, we can assist you through a Sponsored scheme. Please contact us for further information!
How many times can I apply for Singapore PR after getting rejected?
You are permitted to reapply for Singapore PR without any restrictions on the number of attempts. However, there is a six-month cooling-off period before you can submit another application.
Is there a Singapore PR approval quota that I can check on?
Unfortunately, the quota remains private and confidential and is subject to periodic adjustments by the relevant government agencies.
What should I do if I misplaced some important documents, such as my Bachelor’s Degree certificate or any other educational credential?
In the case of educational certifications, should you misplace these essential documents, we will prepare a declaration letter clarifying your circumstances. This service is inclusive and does not incur additional charges, unlike other firms in the industry.
If I opt to change jobs while my PR application is under review by the ICA, will it influence my chances of approval?
Your application won’t be impacted, provided you don’t frequently change jobs. In fact, receiving a promotion or a pay raise is favorable. The key is for the ICA to view you as stable and responsible.
Prior to changing jobs or experiencing significant profile changes, such as the birth of a child after submitting the application, please reach out to us. We’ll assist in preparing the required documents.
